There is this amazing place here in town called The Nomadic Trading Company (Facebook Nomadic Trading Company) Occupying an old 1800’s Silk Mill, the Nomadic Trading Company, features all kinds of booths and stalls featuring antiques, furniture, re-imagined items, artisans, crafts people, and rotating stores in it’s 20,000 square foot interior. There are some booths that are permanent, but many have rotating vendors, so the inventory often changes.
But it is full of amazing treasures that Mia and her Grandfather would love.
We were there is past weekend and Thom was doing caricatures. (picture is blurry :/) Thom waned to take the old shoppe counter he was working on home with him. It was solid, but too big to fit anywhere here.
So many amazing things to see. If you are ever near Punxsutawney, PA, you NEED to stop by. They are open a couple of Fridays and Sundays a month and there are often large, special events that go on downstairs. Check the Facebook Page for exact dates.
