The new Ever After High C.A. Cupid doll is showing up in stores and online. We previously compared the Ever After High version to the Monster High version of Cupid here.
Since our daughter’s first Monster High doll was the Sweet 1600 Cupid, we put in a good word with Santa and he brought her the new Ever After High Version.
I took some photos to share of her in the box and out of the box.
She comes in the standard Ever After High storybook box. She is listed as a Rebel.
I really like the way she is in the box. It showcases her outfit, shoes, bows/arrows, quiver and wings.
(Unfortunately, that also makes her a pain in the tush to remove from the box!)
One of the first things I noticed was that her wings attach like the Monster High ones too. They wear like a backwards necklace. I like the new feathered wings (molded plastic.) Her outfit is very cute. It is very ancient “goddess” inspired. Her skirt has pink foiled arrows on it, as well as a cute black lace (peek-a-boo) trim. Her black fishnet stockings are very cute as well as her shoes. I like how they used touches of black throughout the doll design (on her belt, her earrings, her stockings, and her ring.) Her shoes are very cute as well. They have arrows for heels with pink hearts on the outside and a wing on the ankle strap.
I also like the hair and skin tone on the new doll. I love the Monster High version as well, but I like the warmer tones. I like how her lips are pink with the Monster High Cupid heart in the center. Something else I really like is the hair. It is longer on this version. I know the Monster High doll has a shorter style that is curled out and has the heart made from the hair. It is a bit hard to keep styled. This version is easier and the headband has a plastic heart, which is easier to maintain.
Overall, I really liked the new Ever After High version. She is showing up in stores, or you can find her here on Amazon.
