Those who follow us know about our love of Disney. I was lucky enough to have parents that took us to Walt Disney World several times growing up. I got to see Epcot soon after it opened and I got to see attractions that are no more like: Kitchen Kabaret, The World of Motion (loved the circle and the conveyor seating) and Horizons. When we heard about the Epcot 30th Anniversary Figment Mystery Set we were sold.
As I mentioned, Thom loves to collect Disney pins, but he didn’t make his first trip to Walt Disney World and Epcot until 2010 and he missed a lot of these great attractions, but he has seen them on youtube videos. He developed a love of all things Figment and the Dreamfinder. So much so that he dressed up like the Dreamfinder for the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in 2011.
These pins were perfect for his collection. Let’s take a look at them.
There are 10 designs–each pin features Figment with a Epcot pavilion or attraction. They came in mystery boxes with 2 pins and you had to try and collect them all.
First up is Figment and Mickey —Future World pin
Next we have Figment with the Dreamfinder paying homage to his home attraction Journey Into Imagination.
Thirdly, we have Figment at the original Living Seas in a diver costume.
Next is Figment, at one of my favorites, Spaceship Earth. He is dressed in a space suit.
Here we have Figment at one of my favorite “lost attractions” the World of Motion.
We have a wonderful pin of Figment and a dinosaur from the Universe of Energy.
Figment and the robot butler from another great lost attraction, Horizons.
Figment with the shop from Body Wars in the Wonders of Life pin.
Figment with SMRT-1 from CommuniCore.
Finally we have Figment with the Fiesta Fruit from Kitchen Kabaret.

These pins are absolutely wonderful and perfect for the Epcot lover both old and new. From a nostalgic perspective, I love these. They remind me of my childhood and the Epcot I grew up with.
